The Bean at Millenial Park

One of the most visited works of art in Chicago just begged to be sketched plein air. It was challenging to capture the movement and fascination of the tourists coming and going, especially how the parabolic reflection kept changing as the sketch developed. Ink and wwatercolor on 300gsm cold-pressed watercolor paper in a bound sketchbook, in about 45 minutes.
