The Woodcarver of Abidjan

While in Ivory Coast, I would often buy handicrafts at the Markory Market in Abidjan. Behind the market lay the workshops for the wood carvers and I found these to be very interesting. This painting was done in fascination with the woodcarver working hard in the hot equatorial Sun. He did it with abundant love for his art.
