Graphite on paper. Weather Worn was developed from on location drawings along the Ring of Kerry in Ireland. My initial interest was the intricate weathering and construction of this well used wheel barrow. The patterns and fading off of the shading was influenced by the effects of shifting light from sea mist and overhead clouds.
