Rude Awakening

Oil on Canvas. This painting was done of a priest in a cathedral in Naples. He was observed sleeping at his station and not happy when awakened. The tones in the wooden enclosure and the vibrancy of his garb along with his expression made an impression on me. It seemed a moment worth preserving.
