Akwaaba means Welcome! Welcome to the Ghanese jungle! Last February I made a trip to Ghana, the country my brother lives with his family. I traveled to the jungle to see the banana-trees and all the other lovely vegetation. I am totally in love with the banana-trees! To me it seems the trees in the painting are like guards who want to say to you: welcome, come closer and enter the jungle! The work is 1 m by 1 m
