"An Eye for Berries" oil on linen. This piece was inspired by the feeding robins outside my studio window. I stepped out to observe them and was inspired by the repeating shapes of the wild cherries and the similarity they had to the eyes of the robins. The robins also had a knack for finding the berries in order to feast.
