I was taking an early morning walk with my husband, my daughter and her dog, by Johnson Creek in Portland, Oregon, and this scene just hit me like a ton of bricks!. I knew there was a painting in it so I took several photos with my phone, since I did not have my paints with me, and the rest is history! Done from my own photos in my studio.
