Yellow Canoes

The inspiration for the watercolor yellow canoes, came during a walk around the lake with a dear friend. I can still remember the sound of the katydids and the warmth of the August sun on my back. The day was so still that the water was like glass, making the reflections of the canoes as vivid as the subject themselves.
