Night Moves

In addition to painting, I'm also a professional photographer. I was on a gig to photograph a beautiful coastal home on Seabrook Island, SC and I knew I needed twilight photos of the house but when I turned around this view of the dock stopped me in my tracks. I love how the dock lights create a pattern and fade into the distance. I wanted the sky to feel like it does when your eyes finally adjust in the dark and you can see every variation of light and the moving clouds.
